Secure Home Gateway (Router Security Application) https://securehomeplatform.mcafee.com

• Worked on OpenWRT/Lantiq router. Porting in-house solution on these routers.
• Designed and implemented features on router software that blocks access to all malicious websites, provides parental control, does vulnerability scan for iOT devices.
• Created portal that helps McAfee/customer support to handle customer query. This was the 20% project and self driven.

• Designed and implemented android application that rejects/warns user about incoming fraud call. User can create their own set blocklist.

Samsung Tizen Bluetooth

• Developed Bluetooth application on Samsung Tizen mobile phones, contributed to open source BlueZ stack for Bluetooth profiles.
• Redesigned Bluetooth audio application to handle various applications such as Skype, GTalk etc. over Handset Profile.

• Bluetooth profile were not very readable, gave user option to create Bluetooth profile with picture and name. User can preview image/video thumbnails and get multiple files in one bluetooth transaction.

• Provided extra Bluetooth visibility mode to user for instant messaging and file transfers.
