1. Power BI Desktop

• Took initiative of ramping up recent hires, conducted monthly meetings with vendors to make sure that connectors are coordinated with latest improvements in databases like Snowflake, Amazon Redshift, Big Query, other Hadoop based databases like Spark, Impala, Hive
• Ownership of ODBC based connectors within Power BI. Added Native Query feature in Power BI for ODBC based connectors.
• Streamline process for ODBC driver validation, packaging and shipping in the application on each release.

2. Power BI Service

• Making sure connector release is up to date & accessible to the cloud customers.
• Updating and validating connectors & drivers

3. Power Platform (Automate)

• End to end designing, building SAP ERP connector & OData connector for Power Automate which helps bring SAP users into Power Platform. Prepared use cases for certification, presented and got it certified with SAP adding more value to the product.

• During this 6-month internship I worked as part of small team where I developed Java RESTful API for Dell EMC products. These conformed to modern computer systems management interfaces via Redfish and Swordfish management standards using OData service. Task included designing and developing secure and scalable back end system, REST API.
