Volunteered over 3 years to directly work with and serve the homeless population in Berkeley. Work included food service and distribution of supplies. Additionally, I was asked to come back and conduct interviews for the website highlighting other students' experiences.

Shadow and assist chemists in researching treatments for neurological diseases. Learn about different departments of biotech companies and careers in the drug development industry

Prevented the spread of invasive African snails and aided in removals. Researched the Giant Tortoises, their population trends, and sharks in their natural habitats. Practiced conservation research skills and field teamwork.

Engage with tourists traveling to San Francisco, took customer orders, and worked the register. Clean and restock supplies, and learned the business of a restaurant. Translate orders and communicate with waitstaff in Spanish. Plate meals and make sauces

Developed field research skills in the rainforest focused on protecting endangered Leatherback turtles and improving conservation efforts.
