DJ Shay Kapone is an American rapper, record producer & DJ from Tampa, FL. Best known for being discovered as an artist, “On Da Grind” by the major record label “Slip-N-Slide Records. Working in several music production studios throughout Central Florida & Denver, Colorado. Being heavily influenced by Hip Hop Culture during the ’90s, I started as a songwriter & EMCEE. Turning that same passion for writing music & began producing my style beats, evolving down the path of music production. I enrolled in a private technical college for a Bachelor’s Degree in Recording Arts, where I began working for local studios & attending beat battles & music conferences. I was gaining a massive amount of exposure as a producer and now i'm a DJ!
