  • Mobile App Transformation: Transformed a poorly rated 1-star mobile app into a highly acclaimed 4.8-star app within 3 months which received recognition for being “One of Time Magazines Best Apps of The Year So Far”. Conducted extensive user research, testing and analysis sessions, re-architected navigation systems, expanded its features and extended availability to OTT devices, resulting in nearly a 600% increase in downloads and usage within seven months.
  • SVOD Service Launch: Led the design and launch of The Great Courses Plus, a subscription-based streaming service. Achieved a 75% sign-up rate among the targeted user base, with 42% converting to paid members. Utilized user research, testing and feedback to design a platform that satisfied customer needs and preferences, increasing user engagement and revenue.
  • Lean & Robust Prototyping: Gleaned user feedback enabling us to pivot early and often with a data-driven, test and learn mindset prior to committing anything to code by designing and testing both low and high fidelity prototypes created in Figma, Axure and Adobe XD.
  • Data-Driven Design Solutions: Resolved issues and discovered multiple areas for improvement for web, OTT and app products through multiple methods of user research and testing including A/B testing, in lab testing and observation, remote unmoderated user testing, card testing, guerilla testing, card sorting and surveys.
  • Discovery, Engagement, and Sales Optimization: Reduced cart abandonment by nearly 100% and increased checkout rate to nearly 80% through effectively researching, testing, optimizing and designing the customer journey from initial discovery through final purchase.
  • Website Overhaul: Modernized an outdated website selling physical media products into a digitally focused platform. Introduced digital downloads, streaming and a subscription-based model. Revamped product presentation, and improved course categorization, leading to improved course discovery efficiency and expanding the customer base to a much younger demographic.
