June 2007:

Plane handler responsible for chocking and chaining aircraft on the flight deck during launch of recovery and respot evolutions. Superb leadership and knowledge of the flight deck, contributing over 12,024 mishap free launch and recovery during the 2008 Mediterranean and Arabian Gulf deployment. Crash and Salvage training Petty officer tracking over 100 PQ qualifications and GSE licenses leading to a fully qualified and highly proficient crash and salvage team. Contributed a timely response of 15 aircraft deck emergencies during flight operations minimizing any further hazard or damage to the aircraft on the flight deck. Quality assurance coordinator overseeing the resurfacing of over 60,000 ft. of flight deck nonskid, ensuring the flight deck was ready to launch and recover aircraft on the first day of the Mediterranean and Arabian Gulf deployment.

March 2008-Feb 2010:

Elevator operator responsible for the safe operation of aircraft elevators from the flight deck to the hanger deck during launching recovery in spot evolutions. Elevator operator, work center supervisor supervising and trained a work center of nine junior sailors responsible for all day-to-day operations in flight, deck control, including tracking, 29,562 mishap free moves and 1215 elevator runs.

Supervisor as the tile team responsible for leading 25 sailors in the removal and resurface preparation and installation of 28,000 ft. of tile throughout the USS, Harry S Truman spaces the Navy more than $700,000 in contracting cost. Technical expert in high tempo flight deck operations, expertly demonstrated the complex and dynamic processes involved and daily flight deck operations to over 2700 distinguished visitors in support of fleet forces and naval community relations program.
