Working in a Fortune 100 Best Companies, with nearly 100,000 associates serving more than 118 million people, at every stage of health, my responsibilities have been:

• Oversee the company’s efforts to achieve cultural diversity, especially in vendor relationships and on the global supply chain.
• Seek out and foster new relationships with small, and diverse suppliers nationwide.
• Develop comprehensive strategies for supplier diversity and address a full range of needs with an integrated whole health approach, powered by industry-leading capabilities and a digital platform for health.
• Resolution of enterprise-wide request for proposals (RFPs) regarding Supplier Diversity.
• Develop, monitor and execute mentorship programs, matchmaking events, and trainings on supplier diversity.
• Advocate with cross-business units for the inclusion of diverse suppliers on the global supply chain. Assess suppliers to ensure compliance with diversity standards.
• Implement metrics and reporting systems to track the success of supplier diversity initiatives.
• Collaborate with the sourcing and procurement teams to streamline processes and improve overall supply chain efficiency.
• Lead the Supplier Diversity Champions Program through inclusion efforts; promoting an environment that fosters creativity and innovation among employees.

Advocate for policies, developing tailored business and mentorship programs, fostering community engagement, ensuring resource access, growing membership, and empower Hispanic entrepreneurs to enhance economic development within the community.

• Provide strategic vision and operational implementation for maintaining and expanding entrepreneurship programs for more than 5K businesses in the Indy region.
• Attract, analyze, and support business owners through the organization's resources.
• Actively engage the HBC board members, volunteers, event committees, partnering organizations, media and stakeholders to meet HBC goals and metrics.
• Lead the development and execution of marketing, public relations and promotional campaigns for the HBC.
• Provide business coaching for the creation, development, and growth of businesses in English and Spanish in central Indiana.
• Support the sales team with pitch opportunities, referrals, and memberships.
• Execute the strategic and creative communications plans, including digital and social media.
• Over 65% of Rapid Response loans during the pandemic went to XBE businesses, including Black-, Hispanic/Latino-, Women- and Veteran-owned companies, disbursing a total $4.15 million. For the PPP loans reported issuing 171 loans for a total of $3.14 million. Of these, 76% have gone to minority- and women-owned businesses.

Research challenges and opportunities affecting the Hispanic community, identify, and provide recommendations to the governor and legislature.

• Work diligently with the IN Civil Rights Commission staff, and the Education and Outreach team on program initiatives statewide.
• Propose programs, initiatives, and strategies to the Commission based on community outreach and data research.
• Guarantee stakeholder engagement and develop new partnerships to support the ICHLA and ICRC goals.
• Establish Commission objectives and strategic direction with input from State Commissioners.
• Operate as the representative for the Commission at meetings, boards, and other public actions.
• Develop content and messaging for the audience, customers, partners and media through the website, and social media platforms.
• Review proposals developed and submitted to State or Federal agencies for funds needed to operate community programs.
• Developed three listening sessions in three regions of the state with approximately 475K responses within the Hispanic community and presented results to legislators.
