Duties: In this position I am the office opener. My average day consists of going through emails, checking in patients, filling and verifying insurance appointments for the following day. Other task consists of :
Duties: In this position I am responsible for all new patients and past
patients that are contacting our office. As well as verifying all insurances
for new and past patients keeping insurance up to date for billing
purposes . I am also responsible for making calls to follow up with
patients . My day to day responsibilities constantly changed according to
the business needs. Some of which were:
● Booking appointments for new and past patients
● Contacting patients' insurance companies to make sure we are in
network.
● Scheduling all new referrals.
● Giving cash prices to patients who don't have insurance
Informing patients about the monthly prices for the meal
replacements.
● Responsible for replying back to all the emails that come in.
● Communicating with our patient services manager about our
monthly numbers and goals that are being met.
● Programs used were EPIC Scheduling System, Excel, Google
Calendar, Microsoft Word, Raintree, Active campaign.
Duties: In this position I was responsible for the workflow of 4 employees
as well as 2 interns who I oversaw to make sure they learned the multiple
aspects of the office duties. My day to day responsibilities constantly

● Booking patients surgery cases which included:
● Following up with patients to make sure all necessary pre-op labs,
EKG and X-rays are completed
● Contacting patients' insurance companies to make sure they were
authorized for surgery or any other services required by the
doctors.
● Making sure all disability forms for patients are completed and
submitted post-surgery.
● Responsible for contacting reps for any equipment needed to
complete the surgery.
● Scheduling and looking over new referrals.
● Keeping track of surgery billing and op reports to make sure
patients' bills were paid on time.
● Greeting patients as well as helping schedule for follow up visits.
● Communicating with the Dr., daily through Text, Email and phone.
● Maintaining good communication as well as a good relationship
with Reps and Hospital surgery schedulers.
