• Technological proficiency: to operate common office equipment and proficient in computer use, both Macintosh and Windows, with experience in a variety of programs and applications including word processing, databases, and excel spreadsheets to keep a tracking system.

PRESENT

• Accurately prepared, processes and follows up on Migrant Education Program Eligibility requests.
• Identifies eligible migratory students, accurately completes certificate of eligibility, understands, and applies Migrant Education regulations associated with a federally funded program.
• Recruit new and returning Migrant Eligible students and assists with determining if qualifying factors were met.
• Conduct school visits, home visits, and attend community events to actively recruit new and returning students and provide program information.
• Develops and maintains files and records for Migrant Families in accordance with departmental policies and procedures. Keep a tracking document of our paper trails each day.
• Works collaboratively with the Recruiting team and other members of the Migrant Education staff.
• Assists Anchorage School District staff, parents, students, administrators, and the general public regarding Migrant Education.
• Maintains confidentiality and inspires confidence and cooperation of staff, parents, students, administrators, and the public.
• Establishes and maintains effective working relationships with staff, parents, students, administrators, and the public.
