I have been working as one of many IT technicians who maintain, and provide IT services to over 250+ client companies. We provide many different services ranging from Fire & Security, Forensic Analysis, OIT-Telemetry, Network Administration, and Full MSP Coverage. I have been able to grow quickly, and learn alongside very knowledgeable technicians. With that knowledge I have been able to take many challenges, both over the phone and onsite. Some of these challenges include many incident response cases; Domain level ransomware attacks, Backup recovery, computer failure, and data recovery. I continue to grow more and more each day building the necessary foundation to make myself a valuable IT, Network, and Cyber Security asset.
As a part of a small team of crew members we handled the upkeep of Jefferson Parish's canals, drains, and larger water stations. This included cutting grass, picking up debris, and cutting larger trees that would lead to obstructions of other working contractors for the Parish. Maintaining the various sites around town presented my team with often intimidating amounts of work. In this environment, I saw the opportunity to give encouragement, suggestions for efficiency, and new forms of handling our equipment. As a team, we brought our suggestions to management and presented our ideas. The reorganization of the crew truck and management space allowed myself and the other crew memebers to become one of the more efficient crews employed by the parish.
I was a part of a large team of Customer Service Representatives who worked in the Commercial Lines department of Riverlands Insurance Inc. I The atmosphere focused on a very short deadlines to allow for the best service to insured individuals. During my time there, I was tasked with handling larger clients. This encouraged growth for the pocessing team. With the company growing, we were able to divide the workload amongst the new employees and spend more of our time building meaningful connections with our clients.
My position included handling transactions with customers, and supplying a high level of customer service. I would be tasked with crafting the drinks and other products that were ordered. Other tasks included deep cleaning and upkeeping stations in a fast paced environment. As a barista I could form very in depth conversations and relationships with regular customers. I could see how my behavior, service, and positive attitude gave opportunities to customers to have a shift in perspective of their day to day. This was achieved through learning about their current events and attitudes, and giving constructive responses that would seek to have a better outlook on their situations.
