STV currently has an opening in either our Douglassville, Philadelphia or Harrisburg PA offices for a Bridge Inspection Group Leader in our Transportation and Infrastructure division. Successful candidate will be a seasoned, experienced professional with a full understanding of bridge engineering industry practices and capable of solving a wide range of bridge engineering design, analysis and inspection challenges. Using demonstrated progressively sophisticated experience, you will apply it to bridge engineering methods and technologies for a wide range of projects. In addition, you will also have experience using independent judgment managing technical staff with day-to-day project work, producing technical deliverables for bridges and other structures associated with transportation engineering projects. Experience with alternative delivery methods such as design/build and accelerated bridge construction is also desirable.

Primary Responsibilities:

* Leading our bridge inspection practice and team
* Completing engineering design, analysis and executing technical decisions to achieve successful high-quality project delivery for complex and non-complex highway bridge replacements, rehabilitations and preservations.
* Supporting the Pennsylvania Business Manager in the pursuit of new work with marketing and proposal development.

Required Skills:

* Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering (MS Degree is a plus)
* A minimum of 11 years of experience.
* Pennsylvania Professional Engineering License
* Experience with bridge engineering design and analysis software including Microstation and standard Microsoft Office Suite of products are required.
* Certified Bridge Safety Inspection (CBSI) Certification,
* PennDOT experience and project management training are preferred.
* Good oral and written communication skills are essential.
