In high school I enrolled in JROTC for 4 years and was a member of the Student Staff. In that, I learned a lot of discipline and teamwork, along with record keeping.
Was promoted in my time at McDonald’s, helping train new hires through different areas of the store.
Have been working in many different departments in Lowe’s, learning lots about the store and the environment around me.
Here at Lowe’s I work as a sales associate and have learned safety procedures on heavy machinery, employee and customer safety, sales tactics, asset protection, keeping inventory, and to a degree- security. Im trained to observe and be vigilant of the department in working in, to identify and report any suspicious activity to prevent theft. Im more than used to computer work, and working late hours.
At McDonald’s I started as a Cashier and there I learned a lot about customer service, food handling, asset protection, and keeping inventory. After a while I was promoted to Crew Trainer and helped train new hires in every part of the store. I left that job seeking a higher pay and more hours.
