I was apart of a club called S.W.A.G from sophomore to my senior of high school, which stood for "Students with artistic goals" where students who wrote poetry, could draw, sing, play an instrument, dance, etc. were more than welcome to come and preform once a month in the planetarium. We welcomed anyone who wanted to come and see us preform, or even those who wanted to preform along side us. It was a judgement free zone where we allowed everyone to release their creativity. And because of this club I became a lot more comfortable in my skin, not only as a performer but also a person and gave the confidence I lacked growing up. Along with the I had made long lasting friendships, that without S.W.A.G I probably would not have.
