Accomplishments

  • Collaborated with team of 4 in the development of restoring a solid rupture in a brand new drive they left behind, I took my hands on an management skills and delegated for propane, a torch, a rake, shovel, a string line, and a hand tamper. As the owner was gone the home owner was furious with the crooked edge of his new driveway and the horrible bump. I heated the edge up with torch reshaped and blended. I shoveled the excess off and threw it on to the bump. I had a crew member tamp the edge in as I raked the hot asphalt over the bump and then reheated it. Then another crew member took the excess off from creating a spot and added to the approach removing water fall as I raked and leveled the the bump.
  • Documented and resolved a subcontractor and customer leap frogging situation that didn't need for anyone to lose their job but made the company money which led to a 4 year maintenance contract on all maintenance on all properties. By cutting out the contractor I noticed that the customer was adding 500 dollars as a kick back for himself without telling his partner or the contractor. Until they got too greedy the contractor was in surgery i was site supervisor and witnessed check exchange. Just shear intimidation and the embarrassed partner not wanting to get out the fact he doesn't even have trustworthy partners watching over his jobs was enough to guarantee 4 years of work.
  • Achieved an extra 30% on our business intake by completing an invention that saved half the time for the sealcoating tank driver, the, pusher, and finisher with accuracy and efficiency. Leading to double time on cleaning and more time to sign more jobs.
  • Laid the foundation of stone and asphalt for the 2020 new home of the Veteran's from Foreign Wars Memorial on South Ave in Youngstown, OH.
