  • Oversee EVS operation for Sheppard Pratt and their multi campus health system with includes 345 patient beds across two campuses, 64 total FTEs, and a total budget of $3.1 million dollars.
  • Hospitals consists of 23 behavioral health patient units and 10 outpatient day programs. We specialize in providing a sanitary and safe environment for all patients, staff, and visitors.
  • Serve as liaison to Sheppard Pratt with Community Services. Directed contracted cleaning programs at close to 48 off site locations across the Maryland area. Coordinated one off cleaning projects across non contracted Sheppard locations.
  • Track metrics and report to Sheppard executive team. Metrics include turnaround time, budget, customer round scores, nursing survey results, and turnover.
  • Work alongside other integrated operation hospital departments on a daily basis.
  • Attend daily safety huddles, as well as weekly or monthly accreditation readiness, infection prevention, environmental care, and leadership meetings.
  • Each week I attend environmental care rounds with IP, maintenance, security, and unit management. We gather findings in the environment and tend to any deficiencies noted for EVS.
  • Coordinate with departments on numerous construction projects at the main campus which has been under renovation for over a year now. Patient units are being upgraded as well as main corridors and lobbies. I represent EVS in planning meetings and coordinate with my team on sanitation planning for post construction needs and navigation needed around construction barriers.
  • Coordinate with community services leaders for EVS related items during construction, location changes or building shutdowns. Prep new builds with initial cleaning and establish cleaning contracts with additional third party vendors.
  • Manage pest control response with Home Paramount.
  • Coordinate annual online training, fit testing, and flu shot based on hospital requirements and deadlines.
  • Complete rounding with my management team on a weekly basis and complete rounds alone on a daily basis.
  • Regularly check in with unit managers. Walk units with them and address issues as needed. Return kudos to appropriate team members who are thriving.
  • Plan and execute routine/ project floor care. Stripping and waxing, top scrubbing, burnishing.
  • Team building and acknowledgement on monthly basis. Host group activities during huddles and plan food/ drinks for the team. (coffee, donuts, pizza, etc.)
  • Successful mock survey and official Joint Commission report in 2024 that included no conditional findings.

  • All departments managed include housekeeping, maintenance, food and beverage, front desk and supporting sales management staff while representing Homewood Suites Brand Standards.
  • During my time as GM my property has achieved $3.6 million in room revenue with 9,956 rooms sold and an average daily rate of $121.74 for a nights stay.
  • This summer we completed our public area renovations.
  • Top to bottom renewal of amenities from our front desk to our breakfast area.
  • I led our contractors daily with direction on completing this project while continuing my normal job responsibilities.
  • With in the next year we will be moving onto refreshing our guest rooms and hallways.
  • On a daily basis I lead my team by meeting with my department heads to prepare for each days arrivals, departures, in- house guests, and maintenance tasks.
  • I check to ensure all protocols are being taken to make sure rooms are assigned to room attendants, front desk agents are adhering to guest requests, and maintenance has all rooms in order for sale.
  • Responsible for executing HR responsibilities including hiring/ interviewing, terminating, benefits, and payroll.
  • Coordinate all billing payments for accounts payable/ receivable.
  • This also includes calculating sales/ occupancy tax each month and sending to proper department of revenue.
  • Produce schedules for all staff members based on occupancy totals weekly.
  • Process cash payments monthly and deposit to company bank account.
  • Execute yearly license and certification renewals for fire inspections, sprinkler systems, and fire extinguishers.
  • Process certification from Bucks County Department of Health for food service license and license for public bathing facility yearly.
  • Train team members using Hilton front desk applications and ensure all required trainings are completed for each staff member.
  • Coordinate monthly staff meetings to update staff on new information/ boost moral by spending time with staff.
  • Complete all ordering for hotel including Sysco food orders for kitchen, Guest Supply housekeeping orders, and orders for maintenance supplies as needed.
  • I am on call 24/7 to support staff in each department for callouts/ emergency situations.
  • Daily property walks enforced.
  • This includes completing rooms inspections and recording discrepancies to the proper department.
