Currently for the past almost 3 years, I have been working for Four Winds Casino & Resorts, and have been since early March, of 2022.
My responsibilities are to ensure that the employees who travel and transfer money to and from places for transactions are safe and secure.
I man the Main and the Copper Entrances of the Casino to ensure that the rest of the guests will not be victims of any type of weapon, which includes knives, guns, and bombs.
I also patrol to observe if any suspicious individuals are taking part in illegal substances and activities while on the property, and report it to my highest command.
A big part of my job is working in tandem diligently with my co-workers, security officers.
Teamwork is a key and vital aspect that is needed to perform our job efficiently.
Participated in training for leadership classes to stay up to date on current security policies and procedures.
I have been the main trainer on my shift in the Security Department for over a year now, and that has been very beneficial to my relationships with my new co-workers regarding how we can communicate better as a team. Every new trainee I get, I even get to learn new skills required to do my job better, per policy and procedure change.

I worked as a retail associate for a year, conditioning shelves and making sure all products were on the shelves as they were supposed to be. These particular assignments helped me learn and perform skills that are required to keep a workspace neat and organized.
Organized backroom storage areas for efficient access to merchandise.
I got promoted to run an electronics center, be the lead in that department, and also periodically run registers in my department at the time, as well as at customer checkout.
I learned customer service while at this job, and I have never forgotten the basic skills needed to communicate with a guest of any sort.
