  • Originally hired in 2021 to build the Staffing Coordinator role at RGH as it was a new position
  • As a Staffing Coordinator, I account for all number of RNs LPNs and PCT on every inpatient unit during all shifts
  • If any units are short, it is my priority to move staff from unit to unit accordingly to ensure safe nurse to patient ratios
  • When my manager left the organization in 2022, I took over the office as Nursing Office Supervisor
  • As a Nursing Office Supervisor, I oversee two Staffing Coordinators and seven Access Associates
  • Our office is in charge of employee related operations
  • We take in all the employee call ins, and notify the units
  • We also distribute all wound vacs and specialty beds to patients who need them
  • Our office is the hub for any tracking necessary such as staffing, call ins, floating statistics, Magnet program information, and any Agency related issues
