- We would receive calls from parents about fights or missing children and dispatch an officer to their location
- We had a camera system we would monitor for our whole shift
- We would watch events on our cameras such as volleyball games or football games to make sure there wasn't any fighting or suspicious activity
- We had an alarm system that we would also have to monitor that was high tech and a bit strenuous but i had a great trainer that broke it down for me
- We would have officers at our schools that would call in fights or weapons and we would have to get the approval from chief or assistant chief to shut down the schools or put them on a lock down or modified lock down
- We constantly monitored our cameras for our police officers safety
- We also answered landline calls
- We ran license plates, names by name and dob, checked for warrants
- We would enter missing children, stolen articles, stolen vehicles, criminal trespass warnings
