• Basic Deckhand duties, however, after 7 months, I satisfied all the perquisites to become a Tankerman Trainee. At that point, I was allowed to load and discharge barges while at dock. Of course, under the supervision of a licensed Tankerman.
• I am currently awaiting a decision on my MMC, and Tankerman PIC License from the USCG in Martinsburg WV.
