• Duties: Writing programs for new equipment using Siemens/Texas Instruments 405 and 505 PLC's, and wiring all components that would pertain to a new install. Perform routine maintenance on all foundry equipment, core machines, shot-blasters, conveyors, dust collecting systems, industrial saws and Aluminum holding furnaces. Also responsible for repairing equipment due to electrical, mechanical, hydraulics or pneumatic failures.

Oversaw machinery repairs during production interruptions, focusing on mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and PLC components. Led a small team of technicians, facilitating training and mentorship to enhance job performance.

Facilitated communication between shifts regarding daily issues and utilized work order program to document repairs and modifications.

• My responsibilities are overseeing that the mold machine is running up to its potential in every aspect of the casting process, troubleshooting and anything else that may cause breakdowns whether it be mechanical or electrical and using the PLC as a troubleshooting tool. With only one mold machine in the facility and the fact that this machine produces castings to keep all other departments running, it is absolutely vital that this machine runs and produces quality parts. I'm also responsible for leading the other technicians in their jobs as well as being in charge when my supervisor is off due to vacation/sick days.

• My responsibilities included prioritizing the daily activities of the maintenance crew in all aspects of their job including programming modifications, troubleshooting, implementing upgrades and repairing various types of hydraulics, pneumatics and electrically operated equipment. Editing Allen-Bradley PLC 5, SLC 500 and Micrologix 1500 programs, troubleshooting electrical, pneumatics, hydraulics systems and to perform routine maintenance on all factory equipment such as 1500/2500 ton Die/Machiner, Bumper press, paint booth, and all assembly robots. ABB robots equipped with laser bonding components and systems, Fanuc paint robots, Cannon chemical injection units, monorail conveyor systems, and gas fired ovens.

• Duties: Installation, Commercial and Residential electrical work and would consult following the national electrical code guidelines when installing a new electrical service or adding to an existing electrical system. My duties also included work orders from customers and traveling to their place of business to work on or troubleshoot industrial and commercial machinery.
