Donald English

Dr. Don English serves as Past President and Executive Board Officer for the Association of California School Administrators (ACSA) Region 12.

Dr. English’s leadership also reflects a collective-impact approach. He recognizes that student success cannot be achieved by schools alone and emphasizes collaboration among educators, administrators, parents, governmental agencies, community-based organizations, and other educational partners. Don English was appointed to the Chaffey Joint Union High School District Board of Trustees in December 2021 and currently continues to serve as a trustee. He holds a Doctorate in Education from the University of Southern California, which he completed in 2024. Don also earned a Master’s degree in Educational Administration from California State University, San Bernardino, and a bachelor’s degree from the University of California, Berkeley.
A dedicated educator for thirty years, Don English has devoted his entire career to working with students, driven by a deep commitment to ensuring that all students have the opportunity to succeed. Throughout his career, he has demonstrated strong and effective leadership, helping to cultivate positive school climates and fostering cultures of inclusivity, equity, and access.

Don is widely respected for his contributions to education and frequently provides certification trainings to school districts throughout California. He has presented at numerous national conferences, focusing on serving youth with the greatest needs. Don has been recognized for his outstanding work and remains unwavering in his mission to support students in every way possible.

• Understand the school’s mission, vision, and culture to lead the validation of the Self-Study

• Administer leadership for Alternative and Special Education programs in the West End Region
• Coordinate services with multiple school districts, SELPA, local police, probation, County staff, and community members
