
Quality driven, reliable, Instrument Repair Technician, having the experience as a Lead Sterile Processing Tech years ago has educated me on how a lot of these instruments are used and what exactly needs to be done for the repairs. I am open to learning more in my next chapter.
Duties include maintaining a great relationship with customers, and other staff members from the Agiliti team. Main job duties are maintaining surgical instrument quality for multiple Hospital's in the Houston, TX area. Working with a team of Agiliti's finest.
I cover Houston, College Station, the Woodlands and all surrounding areas. Working with Hospital's and staff to develop a strategic plan to maintain, sharpen, clean, and repair surgical items as needed. Also being their main contact for send-in repair items, such as such as drill's, rigid scopes, flexible scopes, etc.
Sterilizing and reprocessing surgical instruments, cleaning and maintaining equipment. Making sure that priority instrument sets we're ready and sterilized for upcoming surgeries as scheduled by the O.R. This included decontamination, assembly, sterilization, and case cart picking supplies for upcoming surgical procedures.
Case cart repairs, bumper replacing, welding, castings/wheels replacing, autoclave cleaning, all around the southern California region.
Sterilized instrument sets, including the decontam cleaning, assembly, and sterilization of instrument sets. Also, picked supplies for cases for upcoming procedures. Delivering pumps and equipment as needed for other areas of the Hospital.
Repaired and sharpened surgical instruments for many accounts in the northern California region. Scheduling, and maintaining constant communication with all contacts from the accounts and making sure the instrument sets were always properly maintained. Sharpening repairing lap instruments/insulation, ortho, neuro, vascular, etc.
Repaired and maintained instrument sets and repair bin items for multiple Hospital accounts. As well as keeping great communication with all contacts with these accounts. Sharpening, repairing, and being the main contact for send-in items as well. This was not only for the Reno, NV area but northern California as well.
Sterilizing instruments and instrument sets, coordinating with Surgery staff to prioritize next day needs. Directing staff as far as daily assignments, such as decontam, assembly, sterilizers, or equipment runs.
