About Me

Hello and thank you for taking the time to review my resume. My name is Donald John McClain, Jr., and I am very interested in employment with your Special Education department. Language is a device for which have a deep interest and love. I am not only speaking of my experience as an English/Reading Language Arts educator, but as a band director, as well. I have been very successful in my career thus far, and it has everything to do with my passion for teaching. I would love the opportunity to bring my abilities and record of prosperous accomplishments to your prestigious institution, for the betterment of your students’ overall educational experience.

My success can be attributed to my strong work ethic, love for the teaching profession, respect and love for the students and ability to creatively and effectively collaborate with my peers. I am a believer of the “hard work plus dedication equals results” philosophy, and I have previously proven this as a valid method of building and maintaining a student success. I believe in working smarter AND harder. I have been quite fortunate to have worked and studied under a very wide range of educators, and I have taken a great many methods of educating students and organization from these experiences. I eagerly await my first day on the job with your Special Education program, and I look forward to bringing my history of success with me. Thank you for your time and consideration regarding this matter.

Sincerely,

Donald John McClain, Jr
