Collect data for existing or new pole lines or underground work.

Create a map for construction crew(s) to work from to complete the current project.

Collected field data for existing or new projects in order to use data to create construction maps for crew to work from while completeing project.

Responsible for splicing newly installed telecommunications cable as directed from splicing sheets provided by engineering department.

Also responsible for locating and repairing faults in existing / working cable in order to restore service.

Climb poles or operate construction equipment as required in order to place new communication cable as shown on construction prints supplied by engineering department.

Worked as directed to stock / restock shelves for customers.

Sometimes unload incoming semi truck / trailer and place in an orderly maner in store room for later stocking of shelves.
