Member of the AACPS Trauma Team
Chairperson for the Haiti Committee at Saint Clare Catholic Church in Maryland, lead our committee twice to Haiti. We supported St Francis Xavier Catholic School by raising money to pay teachers, buy shool supplies, and clothes and shoes for the children. Additionally, we raised money for a generator and solar panels for the school, built a kitchen and supplied food for 2 meals a day for the children. The school was expanded to include Pre School through grade 12. I was able to get the public school system I worked for to donate 25 used laptops to provide an adult education program to teach adults office skills to obtain a job in Port au Prince.
I was the chairperson for Northeast High School's Relay for life Teams for 4 years, with 20-30 students each year attending and raising over $14,000.
While at Loyola University, Maryland, I co-authored a paper publicized in Psychology in the Schools Journal.
