Experienced Instrument Tech for over twenty-four years, with all three certifications CRCST/CIS/CEFER. I am knowledgeable in all areas such as Decontamination, Processing, Instruments and Sterilizing of Instruments in accordance to their IFU's. My leadership skills allow me to be assertive and work independently. I performed proper disinfection of Endoscopes for seven years. As the lead tech my responsibility was cleaning, inspecting, and calling in all repairs for our Endoscopes. I spoke with the repair companies, as well as, kept documentation of the repairs that came in or out of our Endoscopy unit. I conducted preventative maintenance and troubleshooting for both the surgical instruments as well as the Endoscopy scopes. I have worked with Alex Gold and Censitrac Computer systems. My leadership skills have been used in interviewing new hires as well as training the new hires in Central Sterile and in Endoscopy.
