• Management of the critically ill burn patients; SJS/TENS, graft versus host disease and other skin diseases which warrants admission to the BICU.
• Coordinated with other services including but not limited to Infectious Disease, Cardiology, General Surgery, Dermatology and Ophthalmology specialties.
• Followed prescribed care plans based on documented patient condition and presenting symptoms.
• Placement of various line for resuscitation, hemodynamic monitoring, dialysis, Foley catheter, OGT/NGT, blood cultures and various diagnostic procedures throughout clinical rounds.
• Adhered to strict HIPAA guidelines at all times to protect patient privacy.
• Obtained patient laboratory results, assessed ramifications and prescribed treatments for various conditions.
• Ongoing training of Physician Assistant Residents from JHH PA Critical Care Residency Program

• Management of all aspects of the burn patient from presentation to discharge, including but not limited to line placement, resuscitation, excision of burn wounds and placement of allo/autografts, wound care, pain and sedation management, ventilator, NGT/OGT, feeding tubes, nutrition, SJS/TENS, outpatient management of wounds

Management of the critically ill patient after transitioning to the ICU
