Virtual Reading Teacher was a program that evolved students and parents coming to school together to learn how to teach each other. It was a program that taught me leadership and family skills. Next, I was a 1st grade teacher that

• Promoted love of reading and literacy to all students.
• Assessed and reported on each student's reading progress in accordance with policies developed by school district.

While teaching in MVISD, I was a 1st grade teacher. I also

• Established open communication and positive relationships with students, parents, peers, and administrative staff.
• Assessed student progress by administering tests and evaluating results.
• Planned lessons according to district standards to cover requirements and prepare for standardized tests.

While teaching at SSISD, I taught, 1st grade, Kindergarten and was the Success for All Reading Coach. I was in charge of testing students in all grade levels and placing them in the appropriate reading level class. I was successful in heading the positive climate committee.
