As a Therapeutic Stabilization Program Paraeducator, I work closely with students who have autism or other special needs, including those with IEPs and 504 Plans, providing individualized, one-on-one support tailored to their unique needs. In both specialized and general education classrooms, I assist students in achieving their academic, social, emotional, and behavioral goals by implementing evidence-based interventions and behavior support strategies. My role includes developing and reinforcing personalized behavior intervention plans, utilizing positive reinforcement techniques, and modeling appropriate behaviors to help students regulate emotions and navigate classroom routines and social interactions effectively.

I collaborate extensively with teachers, counselors, specialists, and families to ensure a cohesive approach to each student's development and success, aligning strategies across multiple settings for consistency and maximum impact. I also manage detailed documentation, tracking progress, interventions, and observations to inform adjustments in support plans and contribute meaningfully to IEP or 504 Plan updates.

Through patience, empathy, and adaptability, I aim to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment that fosters students' skill development, confidence, and independence, preparing them for success both within the classroom and beyond.

As a daycare teacher, I provided nurturing care and education for children aged 8 weeks to preschool, fostering their cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development. I created engaging, age-appropriate lesson plans, and supported developmental milestones through interactive play and structured activities.

My responsibilities included maintaining a safe and stimulating environment, establishing consistent routines to encourage independence, and building positive relationships with families through regular communication. I ensured compliance with health and safety standards, and collaborated with colleagues to create a supportive and enriching learning atmosphere tailored to each child’s needs.
