As the Supervisor over the Voluntary Corporate Actions area, I ensured that all voluntary events were being processed accurately and met assigned deadlines. Client elections were compiled and submitted properly to ensure client is paid properly.


I also managed a Call Center for the entire Corporate Actions department. This group fielded all calls relating to the various corporate actions impacting current shareholders.

Accomplishments

  • Supervised team of 12 staff members which consisted of 6 processors and 6 phone operations
  • Implemented a Call Center to handle calls for all Corporate Actions department
  • Created and implemented a Quality Control process that greatly reduced the number of errors that were being created thus bringing down costly errors and possible loss of confidence for the firm
  • Achieved increased automation by introducing/implementing XSP corporation action system that provided an automated site for financial advisors to submit voluntary elections.
  • Received Raymond James annual Management Support award for my work on the XSP project.

Awards

Raymond James holds an annual awards banquet to honor managers who provided excellent customer/management support.  After the many hours of requirements, test cases, UAT testing and finally implementation, they awarded me with a management support award.  It was a great feeling to know how much I was appreciated for all of my hard work.
