As a full time counselor I advise complainants of their rights and responsibilities in the EEO process, under 29 CFR Part 1614, including the option to elect ADR, I have working knowledge of the regulations in Part 1614 and familiarity with Federal anti-discrimination statutes, including Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, as amended, Age Discrimination in Employment Act of 1967, as amended (ADEA), I have conducted inquiries during the initial interview by asking the complainant a series of questions to determine the basis(es) and issues
This information is then entered into I-Complaints where a tracking number for that complainant is generated
If the issues are not resolved the complainant is then issued a notice of right to file a formal complaint
I have work experience in the processing of formal complaints, and Accept/Dismissal of a complaint, which obtained while on a detail to ATF Headquarters EO Office
As part of my duties it is my responsibility to try and resolve workplace issues at the lowest level possible that is brought to the EO Office
