  • As an EEO Specialist/Counselor I have experience with EEO Policies and Procedures, Manuals, and Regulations regarding office Personnel
  • As a full time counselor I advise complainants of their rights and responsibilities in the EEO process, under 29 CFR Part 1614, including the option to elect ADR, I have working knowledge of the regulations in Part 1614 and familiarity with Federal anti-discrimination statutes, including Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, as amended, Age Discrimination in Employment Act of 1967, as amended (ADEA), I have conducted inquiries during the initial interview by asking the complainant a series of questions to determine the basis(es) and issues
  • This information is then entered into I-Complaints where a tracking number for that complainant is generated
  • If the issues are not resolved the complainant is then issued a notice of right to file a formal complaint
  • I have work experience in the processing of formal complaints, and Accept/Dismissal of a complaint, which obtained while on a detail to ATF Headquarters EO Office
  • As part of my duties it is my responsibility to try and resolve workplace issues at the lowest level possible that is brought to the EO Office
  • As the Special Emphasis Program Manager I have created and conducted numerous Special Emphasis Programs for the New York Field Division Office such as; Martin Luther King Program, Black History Month Program, Asian Pacific Heritage Month, Women’s Equality Day, Hispanic Heritage Month, National Disability Employment Awareness Month Program, American Indian/Alaskan Native Heritage Month Program, by securing speakers, trainers, dancers, singers, poets, musicians and city officials to be a part of ATF programs
