My job was working in a Manufacturing Plant and part of my job was to install windows on 737 Airplanes for Spirit Aircraft Company. Center Industries had a contract with Spirit Aircraft.

Part of my job was proactively working with others as a Post Production Technician/Sheet metal mechanic to fill window orders and installing windows for Spirit Aircraft Company. This job requires attention to detail and working closely with quality assurance to ensure the work we did was in Compliance before we released the window part back to Spirit Aircraft. One mistake could be very costly to Center Industries , if we had a mistake no matter how small, Spirit would and could impose a fine on Center Industries.

Another part of my job I was responsible for as a sheet metal mechanic, I was responsible for was the upkeep and having the knowledge on how to perform small preventative maintenance on equipment. Sometimes we didn't have time to wait for Quality Assurance if there was a mechanic issue or problem. This could cause issues to back up and lost time.

Not only did I work closely with Quality Assurance I worked closely with other employees and assisted with production aspects of the window parts.

I played an important role in window assembly, because if a error was made and discovered Spirit Aircraft could fine Center Industries up to 100 K . In the 13 years I worked with Center Industries I could proudly say I never sent out a bad product. This keeps our jobs with satisfied customers at Spirit Aircraft by completing work to exact specifications

I performed detailed inspection of finished products , before turning over to quality assurance.

I have utilized advanced tools and techniques to get the job done.

When business was slow it would be due to the lag of production and productivity at Spirit Aircraft.

We would have permission to leave early.

Attendance plays a very important part in any job.
