  • Army National Guard (Active/Inactive Reserve), Infantry Team Leader and Squad Leader, 04/01/01, 04/01/07, Participated in Operation Noble Eagle I and II and Operation Iraqi Freedom in support of homeland security. Participated in the rescue and recovery of the victims of Hurricane Katrina in August through September 2005. Organized and resourced five or more training events to ensure soldier readiness in preparation for two major future deployments. Assisted in the support of Supply and Logistics for a company-sized element consisting of 117 soldiers.
  • United States Army (Active Duty), Infantry Team Leader and Unit Supply NCO, 12/01/91, 04/01/01, Organized and maintained security in support of the peacekeeping missions in Bosnia-Herzegovina for three separate nine-month rotations in 1995, 1997 and 1999. Served a Battalion-sized element as BN Supply NCO for a period exceeding two years, during that time we were deployed over six times in support of various training exercises while maintaining 100% accountability of over 27 million dollars’ worth the equipment. Held numerous additional duties, most recently the Repair and Utilization NCO for a battalion-sized element. Responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of over 300 barracks quarters. Awarded several medals, ribbons and certificates of appreciation for leadership, accountability and duty performance for eight major deployments. Special training in HAZMAT Handling, Field Sanitation, Heavy Equipment Operator, Combat Life Saver, Airborne and Air Assault.
