Dontrae Thomas

I currently work as a sequencer at Dakkota Intergrared Systems. The job consist of identifying and organizing truck parts for the Ford Truck Assembly Plant.

As a facilities maintenance technician I was responsible for general building and grounds maintenance. The job included a basic working knowledge of construction, plumbing, electrical wiring, and painting.

As a horticulture specialist I was tasked with a variety of duties pertaining to the Horticulture and Landscaping industry such as grounds upkeep, mowing, trimming, pruning, and landscape plant selection and irrigation design.

I am also a FNGLA (Florida Nursery, Growers & Landscape Association) Board Certified Horticulture Professional.

• Ensured customer satisfaction by verifying that products met specifications and functioned as intended before release.

As a construction worker I handled a myriad of task in comercial building construction. Although my certification has expired, I was a C-Tech certified Installer of Fiber Optic & Copper Cable.

As the Personal Assistant to Sherlin Owen, the Co-Owner/ President of real estate company Lafayette Enterprise, I was tasked with everything from deliveries, scheduling, employee supervision, and executive personal transpirtation.

I recieved my GED from Gaves County Public Schools District. I took the actual test at Murray State University.

In 2005 I recieved an Associates Degree in Business Management through a correspondence course that I took at PCDI (Professional career Development Institute) in Atlanta. A now defunct college that was not accredited and pretty much opperated as a 'for profit' business.

Although the degree is not recognized as a legitimate accademic achievment, the knowledge of business principals and practices that I recieved has proved invaluable.

I am an FNGLA (Florida Nursery, Growers & Landscape Association) Certified Horticulture Professional.

I took correspondence courses through the University of Kentucky in 2005
