As an aspiring graduate student, I am motivated by my passion for occupational therapy and dedicated to improving the lives of of individuals facing physical, cognitive and emotional challenges. Through my academic background in political science, I have learned the importance of advocacy, analyzing and solving issues systemically and logically, as well as seeing problems from a number of perspectives. Additionally, my hands-on experience as both a volunteer and an employee as a teacher's assistant and medical assistant has reinforced my commitment to helping individuals regain their independence and quality of life. I am excited to embark on my educational journey to become a skilled occupational therapist and contribute to the empowerment and transformation of patients through therapy.
