Kolas delivers cannabis in the greater Sacramento area and beyond. With more than 6000 SKUs, it has the largest product inventory of any delivery service in the state of California, servicing over 100 customers daily.


  • Overhauled operations, updating SOPs and taking over leadership of Delivery team -11 delivery drivers and 4 dispatchers- creating a consistent, more stable work environment for employees.
  • Thoroughly analyzed and rearranged staff schedule to eliminate redundancies, saving over $70,000 in annual labor costs while also increasing dispatcher wages by 5%, reducing turnover.
  • Hired additional drivers and added vehicles to weekend schedule to meet demand, increasing weekend sales by 32% on average.
  • Acquired fleet maintenance software that changed servicing of vehicles from sporadic to regularly scheduled, extending the life of each vehicle and reducing maintenance costs by getting ahead of potential issues thereby creating a more reliable fleet.

Capitol Compliance Management is the parent company of Kolas, a multimillion dollar cannabis company based in Sacramento and doing business throughout California. Kolas is vertically integrated and employs ~400 people.


  • Spearheaded department development from ground zero, from staffing to training and creating detailed SOPs for all department processes, resulting in a fully operational customer care team that provides excellent customer service and timely service level agreements (SLA).
  • Led and mentored a team of three managers and up to six customer service agents, setting clear goals and maintaining open communication through 1:1 coaching and check-ins, using KPIs and metrics to fairly evaluate their performance.
  • Expanded department functionality beyond customer service by evolving the call center staff into an intrepid sales team, accounting for over $2M of the company's yearly revenue.
  • Ensured staff built brand loyalty through providing daily assistance to 250+ customers, forming relationships with them by listening attentively and offering products according to each individual's needs.
  • Implemented data reporting processes and software, providing insightful data into customer spending habits, customer retention costs, sales, and areas of opportunity within the retail space.

In 2022 the Marketing department found itself severely under-staffed without the ability to hire due to budget cuts. I offered to take on this role temporarily as a project, in addition to my duties as Call Center Director.
