• Performed various duties such as applying dressings to incisions sites postoperatively.

• Assisted in all surgeries, except open hearts.
• I was assigned to the Rothman Center, which specializes in orthopedic and neurosurgery.
• I was the preferred scrub tech for all podiatry surgeries, including total ankle replacement, where I assisted the surgeon and precepted all resident doctors and new students.
• The Rothman Center performs an enormous number of spinal fusions, including those for scoliosis cases and brain tumors, which were most of my cases.

I took a level 1 position at Boston Medical right after the marathon bombing. The amount of talent is far superior to that of any other facility, in my opinion!

I was as eager as the colleges were to teach!

I was quickly assigned to the neurosurgery team; you worked your tail off, but the best OR is in the Menino Building!

However, it was the worst winter on record, plus I missed Florida.
