Level 4 Maternal Care

• Assist physicians during delivery, examination, and surgical procedures by anticipating needs, encouraging patient and attending to baby after birth.
• Works closely with doctors and midwives in coaching pregnant women through childbirth and aid with induction of labor for women with high-risk needs.
• Provide pre-, intra-, and post-operative care to patients undergoing C-section.

Newborn Nursery Nurse

• Providing nursing care of well newborns, including assessment, medication administration, teaching family, and providing support through breastfeeding assistance.
• Providing transitional care for newborns in L&D and PACU
