Comprehensive care to dialysis patients using Gambro Phoenix and Outset Tablo dialysis machines. Nursing positions include charge nurse, floor nurse, lab nurse, and preceptor nurse. Lab reviews and med changes per established protocols. Monthly care plan preparations.

Our nephrologist operates holistically, caring for all of our patients' needs. Many of our patients have many obstacles to accessing good medical care and rely on us to assess and refer them for the variety of medical comorbidities they encounter. We take very good care of our patients.

Currently using EPIC medical software.

CCU/MICU - Comprehensive care to critically ill cardiac and medical patients. Very fast paced unit caring for patients with high acuities and a variety of morbidities including GI bleeding, overdose, septic shock, ARDS, renal failure, multisystem organ failure, etc...

COU - Cardiac Observation Unit - Prepare and recover patients having surgeries, cardioversions, TEEs, pacemaker procedures, electrophysiology studies/ablations. IV conscious sedation.

SDS/Recovery Room/Endoscopy and Procedure clinic/Med.Surg unit. Small hospital in a small town. I worked in several areas preparing and recovering patients for/from surgery. Infusions, conscious sedation, physician assistance with scope procedures. Comprehensive medical care for floor patients.

Rheumatology Clinic - Office Nurse for Pamela Sheets, MD. Patient care and office management for patients with rheumatologic and autoimmune disorders. Patient care included injections, infusions, and monitoring of patients.

Communicable Disease Nurse/Home visiting Nurse. Communicable disease control, rural school nursing, coordination of rural dental screening program. Long term case management for high risk families, advocacy and referral program with the goal of reducing childhood abuse and neglect.

Variety of pool/part time nursing positions when newly graduated from Nursing School. Comprehensive nursing care for residents of the nursing home and for patients in the surgical, medical, and obstetric units of the hospital.
