The 2023 UNCF Youth Gala, which I co-chaired, was a resounding success, raising over $60,000 in scholarship funds and selling over 1,000 tickets. As Co-Chair, I was responsible for planning the event and organizing its various committees. This role required me to exercise leadership in delegating tasks, strong communication skills to effectively share information, and public speaking skills, as I was tasked with addressing attendees during the event. This experience allowed me to develop valuable organizational, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
