Measure 20+ patient vital signs daily, including height, weight, blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration.

• Supervise 4 certified nursing assistants during routine patient care and equipment assembly activities, including catheters, tracheotomy tubes, and oxygen suppliers.
• Answer patient and family questions and educate them on optimal treatment procedures during home care.
• Provide basic treatment for patients, including dressing wounds, treating bedsores, massaging, giving douches or enemas, and attaching catheters.
• Prepared and attached nasogastric tubes for feeding patients under supervision of registered nurse.
• Collected and registered blood and urine specimens from patients.
• Started, monitored, and managed intravenous medications to stabilize heart and blood pressure.
• Performed CPR on patients with cardiac arrest.

• Administer control narcotics assuming full responsibility for possession of keys.
• Enforce regulations requiring witnessed counting and charting of medications during change of shift.
• Develop and implement nursing care plan and supervise patient's admissions and discharge's procedures.
• Oversee direct patient care requirements within Nursing Rehabilitation and Ambulatory Program.
• Liaison between patients, nurses, and physicians to address problems requiring immediate/long term resolve.
• Educate CNAs on prevention of transmitted infectious bacteria.
• Ensure open lines of communication and accurate charting procedures; update computerized patient data.
• Facilitate creative and safe environment with diversified and stimulating recreational activities.
• Assist staff nurses with initial assessment of patient upon admission.
• Report changes in patients' conditions and other matter of concern requiring prompt attention.
• Train and supervise personnel in all areas of patient care and daily procedures.
