Researched titles and learned to conduct Closings, both Residential and Commercial. I was put in charge of the closing department the last two years of my employment there.. I handled many closings for Department of Transportation. Title work would
be ordered on properties being purchased by DOT and when completed I would prepare the closing documents, and make appointments with the property owners. I would go to the property owners residence. All documents
were signed and the check would be disbursed to them. Warranty deed would be taken to the courthouse and recorded with the Register of Deeds. Any payoffs would require a Release of this property being purchased by DOT.
I would be responsible for getting this release recorded with the Register of deeds in the proper county.
Prepared closing package to send or deliver to the Department of Transportation..
