Foresite Healthcare designs and installs innovative monitoring technology for senior living facilities and hospitals, including depth sensors for fall detection and bed sensors for health monitoring. As a Junior Engineer in the RMAs department, I manage the full lifecycle of device maintenance and repairs, ensuring equipment reliability and supporting data-driven healthcare solutions.

Core responsibilities:

• Manage end-to-end RMA operations: receive, diagnose, and repair malfunctioning depth and bed sensors, and coordinate timely return of serviced equipment.
• Perform hardware and software troubleshooting, including firmware reflashing via Linux terminal, and replacement of internal components such as PCB boards, Raspberry Pis, cooling fans, SD cards, wiring harnesses, and IR cameras.
• Maintain accurate inventory using Odoo ERP, logging parts used in repairs and collaborating with procurement for restocking needs.

Additional Contributors:

• Analyze patient behavior and sleep patterns using sensor data and overnight footage to produce tailored reports for nursing staff and families.
• Create BLE tag data summaries to help facilities track nurse movement and optimize care routines.
• Travel nationwide to perform on-site device repairs, installations, and system upgrades at senior living and hospital facilities.
• Assist with the assembly and configuration of newly manufactured devices for deployment in new partner locations.

• Coordinated with maintenance teams to address repair needs in a timely manner, minimizing facility downtime.
