I've had the honor of launching a nationally recognized hair salon, along with my business partner and wife of 30 years. We quickly established a team of 6 stylists and grew to manage a team of over 25. During our 18 plus years of ownership, we opened a second location consisting of a salon/spa boutique. Before deciding to retire from the commission salon business, our business was grossing 2.5 million dollars annually.

• I was the final resolution to all customer service decisions, speaking with over a hundred customers a day.
• Perform payroll functions, such as monitoring time keeping information and processing and submitting payroll on a biweekly basis.
• Collect and deposit money into accounts, disperse fund from cash accounts to pay bills or invoices, keep records of collections and disbursements and ensure accounts are balanced,
• Arrange day to day operations.
• Arrange conference, meeting or travel reservations for office personnel.
• Ordering and scheduling.

• I sold homes, condos and investment properties. List clients homes on the MLS, hold open houses, take clients all over Hamilton, Boone and Marion counties in Indiana.
• Monitor fulfillment of purchase agreements.
• Act as intermediary in negotiations between buyers and sellers over property prices and settlement details and during the closing of sales.
• Check work completed by loan officers, attorneys or other professionals to ensure that all was performed properly.
• Maintain knowledge of real estate law, local economies, fair housing laws, types of available mortgages, financing options and government programs.
• Generate lists of properties for sale, their locations, descriptions and available financing options using real estate software on a computer.

• Analyze quality control test results and provide feedback and interpretation to product management or engineering staff.
• Communicate quality control information to all relevant organization departments, outside vendors or contractors.
• Identify critical points in manufacturing process and specify sampling procedures to be used at these points.
• Collect and analyze production samples to evaluate quality.

• Owned and managed 30 apartments.
• Met with prospective tenants to show available properties for lease, explain terms of occupancy and provide information about local areas.
• Direct collection of monthly assessments, rental fees, deposits and the payment of insurance premiums, mortgage, taxes and incurred operating expenses.
• Inspected grounds, facilities and equipment routinely to determine necessity of repairs or maintenance.
• Investigated complaints, disturbances and violations and resolved problems following management rules and regulations.
• Determined and certified the eligibility of prospective tenants, following government regulations.
• Purchased building and maintenance supplies, equipment or furniture.
