Douglas Garrett

As a member of the Winter Park team, I am involved in many areas of textile clothing production; including receipt of customer donations, sorting, hanging, grading, tagging and movement and transfer of clothing from racks to display in the store.

I worked primarily as a textile grader member of the production team. I also assisted as a donation attendant, sorter, hanger and tagger of textiles.

Received donated items from customers and prepared them for eventual display and sale in the Goodwill store. As a team member, I was involved in all aspects of production of donated textile goods, as well as assisting with customer needs and recovery, cleaning, and preparation of the store for daily use.

• Assisted patients with dressing, grooming and feeding needs, helping to overcome, and adapt to mobility restrictions.
• Provided mobility assistance such as walking and regular exercising.
• Assisted disabled clients to support independence and well-being.
• Traveled to clients' homes to complete healthcare services and promote continuity of care.
• Developed individual care plans for clients based on specific needs.
