  • Closing - 2 hours before my shift ends, I begin to clean up which entails cleaning stocking carts. Soap up, brush up and squeegee produce cooler and clean produce back room. Enter claims for the day (scan all products that are expired or damaged and not eligible for sale into computer system for claims. Enter number of items into system to track inventory). Once claims are done, I take them to the back, behind building, and dump them into dumpsters. I make sure all areas are clean and ready for use for the morning shift.
  • Before 5pm and 8pm, I make sure all areas of sales floor are ready for the "Live at 5" and “Great at 8.” Pictures are taken by the managers of the sales floor for produce and meats to ensure high quality service.

In the produce department:

  • Check what is needed to be restocked for sale on wet wall, salad wall, berry bunkers, bananas and the tables out in produce.
  • Restock items by pulling them from the back storeroom, putting into cart and bringing to sales floor.
  • Clean areas before restocking new items.
  • Use of company cell phone to scan what items are being restocked.
  • Print out pricing labels and pricing changed labels for the displays
  • Removal of all items that are expired or damaged and cannot be sold.
  • Make a donation pallet - package donations into empty boxes, print out donation labels and place them on a pallet for later pick up.
  • Wrap and take out the used RPCs to the back of the building for later pick up.

In the meat department:

  • Find what needs to be restocked. Restock the chicken, turkey, ground beef, specialty meats and pork. Restock frozen meats and seafood.
