I have been a union carpenter for 31 years. The last 29 years as a member of Local 555 Denver Colorado. In the last 29 yers i have been employed by various Union employers as a carpenter, lead carpenter, foreman and as a assistant superintendant, and as a superintendant various projects. Ranging from medical facilitys, hospitals, schools, universty projects and data centers. due to my background, training and certifications, i am well versed in blueprint reading and layout. i am familiar with all trades in the building industry. i have most generally worked for General contractors at various positions. i have a team building and team work attitude. i believe that all trades have the same goal in mind. build a quality project safely. keep a clean project. keep in mind that the owner is our employer! be adaptable to change orders, keeping within the schedule, and within the budget. be adaptable to changes of conditions, such as weather, delay of materials, or any unexpected delays. Be willing to work with sub-contractors to allow after hours work, weekend work or whatever is needed to keep the project on schedule. keep a positive attitude with all employees on site!
