Ministry Philosophy

I believe the fruitful life of the disciple is described in terms of three basic relationships as found in John chapter fifteen. Ministry should develop the believer in these three areas. The first is an abiding life in Christ that honors God. The second is a sacrificial love for other believers. And the third is a Spirit-led witness to the world.

Conversion Experience

I was raised in a Christian home with parents who loved the Lord. They freely communicated to me the truth of the gospel. I cannot remember a time when I did not believe in God and know about what he did for me. However, it was not until a teacher challenged me about personally responding to the gospel that I accepted Jesus as my Savior. That was in the second grade. Through the years I experienced some doubt about my relationship with God until one night in college when I forever settled the issue with the Lord. I live now with the assurance of eternity and the comfort of a relationship with God.
