Began Vanderbilt career in 2005 in Neuro ICU. Worked there three years then transferred to Adult ER where I was employed for four years. Following this I was employed in the Medical ICU while working on my Bachelor's degree in Nursing. After completing my BSN degree, my next position was in the Adult Float Pool where I worked in Medical ICU, Neuro ICU, the Burn Unit, the Adult ER, the Cardiovascular ICU, the PACU, step-down floors, and often acted as preceptor and charge nurse. In my final years at Vanderbilt, I worked PRN for six months in the Adult ER and PRN in MCE for another year. I retired from Vanderbilt in December 2023 after relocating to Moss, Tennessee.
