I was responsible for the care and maintenance of a large estate house, three other buildings on the property and five rental properties in the vicinity. My responsibilities involving the main house, other buildings on the main estate which comprised of two residential buildings and a large carriage house and garage and the off estate rental properties included interacting with the tenants, property inspections, maintenance and repairs as needed including carpentry, plumbing and electrical. My responsibilities for the grounds of the estate included lawn, tree, fruit tree, hedge, flower and vegetable garden care. I was also responsible for the care and daily maintenance of all machinery and tools necessary for the proper care of a large estate. When needed I was responsible for the contact and bid procurement of outside contractors and supervision of all contracted work to insure that the quality and scope of all workmanship and materials was as stated in the contract.
